IDEK why, but the part that got to me most was when Nate told Dan he'd achieved his goal in re: Serena. Not sure you meant it this way or not, but it made me shudder a little (in a good way), thinking about GG and how Dan always "had a plan" and how he was going to bust into the UES. I wonder if that's what's going on here or if he's 100% sincere about Serena. All your descriptions about Serena are so spot on and yet they leave me empty in terms of her as a person. She is bright, sunny, voluptuous, etc, but who is she?
