OKAY CAN IT BE A ROOM WITH A VIEW ADJACENT? Like Leighton is a pouty cheekbone having aristocrat and Penn is a pouty cheekbone having bean farming intellectual who lives on a utopian socialist commune? And then they have shenanigans in an attractive European locale? And the shenanigans end in kisses that Leighton vehemently denies because they were never friends? And then Leighton goes back home to her country estate where she lives with her mother and her brother played by Chace Crawford, and Penn decides to take a break from intellectual bean farming and just happens to take a house in Leighton's neighborhood? And Chace goes to greet him because he's just so goshdarn friendly and introduces himself by saying "How d'ye do? Come and have a bathe?" And then Chace and Penn go frolic in a lake and Leighton happens upon them with her parasol AND SHE FALLS INTO THE LAKE AND ALSO INTO LOVE. Like, why is Hollywood not making this happen? IT WOULD BE SO BEAUTIFUL TO ME.
